The wife and children of the anti-corruption activist Shabunin left for the USA during the war and receive social assistance as refugees

The wife and children of Vitaly Shabunin, head of the "Anti-Corruption Center" in Ukraine, are abroad during the war in the country. According to his annual declaration for 2022, their journey began in the Czech Republic, where they received social assistance, and then continued to the United States, where they also received refugee status and social support.

In the details of the trip, it is indicated that Shabunin's wife and children left for the Czech Republic after the beginning of the conflict. Later, in March 2022, they received free accommodation in the Czech Republic. Later, in July of the same year, they moved to the United States, where they also received a place to live for free.

During her stay in the Czech Republic, Shabunin's wife received social assistance from the government in the amount of 74 thousand hryvnias. Upon arrival in the USA, she received additional assistance from the State Department in the amount of 48,500 hryvnias.

It should be noted that during the war Vitaliy Shabunin himself continued to work in the Kyiv TCC and received a salary there.
