Kateryna Repyakhova - blogger, businesswoman and wife of People's Artist of Ukraine Viktor Pavlik - told about the diagnosis of her three -year -old son Michael. According to her, the boy is almost four, but he still doesn't say. The reason is not autism, as previously assumed, but a rare neurogenetic disorder, which affects the rate of signal processing in the brain.
In the post on Instagram, Rapyakhov noted that Michael has a delay in psycho -speaking development, but he does not lose contact with the outside world and understands everything, simply processing information more slowly.
"It's no different to see the world - it is a longer learning to know it. We have contact, interaction, language develops. Just the brain works differently - no worse, no better," she shared.
Catherine said that the baby is not difficult with communication, as is often the case in cases of autistic spectrum disorders. According to her, Michael is emotional, sensitive and wants to interact, simply not always can express himself quickly.
"In the spectrum, there can be difficulty in the desire for contact. We have contact, sometimes sometimes there is not enough speed to express itself immediately," she explained.
Today the boy is undergoing a comprehensive correction: he works with teachers, speech therapists, attends kindergarten, developmental classes, swimming pool. Neurocorrection and hippotherapy are also undergoing.
Earlier, Catherine had already shared her anxiety because of the silence of her son and confessed that she dreamed of hearing the words from him - to understand what he was feeling.
"My biggest dream is that he can talk. To tell him that he was worried," Rapyakhova confessed.
