The State Emergency Service warns of dangerous weather conditions in a number of regions of Ukraine. On February 4-6 on the roads of the southeastern and eastern regions , as well as in the Carpathian region ice is expected , which can significantly complicate traffic.
Rescuers urge citizens to be careful as possible, as ice can cause emergencies and increase the risk of injury.
Drivers' SES Recommendations:
- keep safe speed and distance.
- Avoid sharp maneuvers and braking.
- To be especially careful near pedestrian crossings.
Pedestrians were also given advice:
- wear shoes with a non -slip sole.
- to cross the road only in the installed places, making sure that there is no transport.
- walk slowly and carefully to avoid falls.
The SES emphasizes that adherence to these recommendations will help reduce the risk of accidents and injuries during bad weather.
In Ukraine, cool or cold weather is expected in the near future with a temperature of -7 to +3 degrees, since February 19, frost is possible.
