The State Emergency Service responded to rumors about the mobilization of its employees

The State Emergency Service of Ukraine (SES) has officially denied widespread information about the mobilization of 50% of its employees, stating that this is not true. According to the press service of the agency, 90% of the personnel have reservations and are not subject to mobilization.

This especially applies to emergency response personnel, including firefighters, sappers, rescuers, chemists, engineers, and other specialists. They are fully booked, as their activities are critically important for ensuring the safety of citizens, eliminating the consequences of shelling, and other emergencies.

The State Emergency Service called on citizens to use only verified information and emphasized that its employees save people every day, often risking their own health and lives.

It is also important to note that from January 22 to March 1, 2025, critical infrastructure businesses can apply for reservations without having to wait 72 hours. Businesses must update their criticality status by February 28, 2025, to continue its validity.
