In September of last year, Ruslan Semerak, at that time the director of the Mostyske Military Forestry State Enterprise, was officially charged with organizing illegal sanitary felling of trees. According to the investigation, the amount of damages exceeds 3 million hryvnias.
Investigators estimated the amount of damages to be more than 3 million hryvnias.
It could have been an ordinary affair, if not for the family ties of the Seven. He is the brother of the former Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources, ex-Minister of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine (in Yatsenyuk's cabinet), People's Deputy of Ukraine of the 6th and 8th convocations on the list of the "People's Front" political party Ostap Semerak.
Even before the suspicion, Semerak's connections helped him reduce the losses. In the mass media, the sum was more than 3 million hryvnias. However, our sources in the police reported that damage to the environment was caused in the amount of 4.7 million hryvnias.
Semerak was not the only one who carried out felling schemes, Volodymyr Patsula, deputy director of the Mostyske Military Forestry State Enterprise, and Stepan Rondyak, woodworking masters of the Mostyske Military Forestry State Enterprise, are also involved in the case.
Arseniy Yatsenyuk's "People's Front" is still alive. Former People's Deputies of the People's Republic of Belarus and workers of this party are regularly brought there. Ostap Semerak is one of the permanent donors of Yatsenyuk's project.
Now the question arises, is Yatsenyuk's project financed at the expense of cutting down Ukrainian forests?
