The Kyiv City Prosecutor's Office sent an indictment to the court against the director of the Department of Housing and Communal Infrastructure of the Kyiv City State Administration (KMDA) on charges of embezzlement of budget funds and official forgery.

"According to the materials of the investigation , the official ensured the victory of the company under his control in the tender for the construction of a water pipeline to connect residential buildings and the sports school "ATLET". The contract stipulated that the contractor would restore the sidewalks and roads after connecting the water supply, but the specified works were never completed. The accused, realizing that the works on the restoration of sidewalks and highways were not completed, signed official documents, which became the basis for the transfer of budget funds to the society. The cost of uncompleted works is about UAH 1 million," the report said.
It is indicated that the accused faces up to 12 years of imprisonment with deprivation of the right to hold certain positions or engage in certain activities for a period of up to three years and with confiscation of property.
