Detectives of the Main Division of the Bureau of Economic Security of Ukraine completed a pre-trial investigation into the director of the company, who illegally imported military ammunition into the territory of Ukraine, claiming that it was humanitarian aid for the National Guard. Instead of handing over the goods to the military, the equipment was sold through a store in Kyiv.

The investigation established that the head of the company, in order to obtain benefits for the import of military goods, provided the customs authorities with forged letters of guarantee with false information about the final recipient
According to the documents, all ammunition: protective helmets, ballistic plates for bulletproof vests and the bulletproof vests themselves were to be handed over to the military unit of the National Guard. However, this did not actually happen. They were illegally sold in a specialized store in the city of Kyiv and via the Internet.
According to the investigation, in May-June 2022, under the guise of humanitarian aid for one of the military units of the National Guard of Ukraine, the suspect imported 4.7 thousand tons of goods into the customs territory of Ukraine. protective helmets, 3 thousand ballistic plates for body armor and 1.7 thousand bulletproof vests
During searches of the company's offices, warehouses and store, BEB detectives seized ammunition with a total value of over 40 million hryvnias. They also seized documentation confirming the company's illegal activities. The goods were seized, and the director of the company was informed of the suspicion. He was remanded in the form of bail.
He was charged with committing fraud with financial resources and violating the procedure for international transfers of goods subject to state export control (Part 1, 2 of Article 222, Part 1, 2 of Article 333 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
