Over the past month, Ukrainian air defense forces have successfully destroyed only a third of the missiles fired by Russian troops.
According to the analysis of data released by the command of the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, during the last six months, Ukrainian air defense forces shot down 46% of missiles on average, and in the previous period - 73%.
As for drones, which are easier to neutralize, the effectiveness of Ukrainian anti-aircraft systems has decreased slightly - by only 1%, to 82% on average over the past six months.
Also, by the end of 2024, the German military-industrial company Hensoldt plans to transfer six TRML-4D radar systems to Ukraine.
Canada's Defense Minister, Bill Blair, announced the allocation of 76 million Canadian dollars (or 55.7 million US dollars) for a German initiative to rapidly supply air defense systems to Ukraine.
