The ex-head of Brovarska district state administration, Georgy Birkadze, turned out to be an accomplice of a criminal group.
Some employees of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau (NABU) receive money for passing on information to the deputy head of the President's Office, Oleg Tatarov. The organization of this process is managed by the first deputy director of the Bureau, Gizo Uhlava.
Uglava, through his close friend, ex-chairman Birkadze, passed on information to Tatarov in a number of criminal cases, including the "large construction" case. However, in reality, it was about the cases of embezzlement of funds, in which those watching the embezzlement of budget funds and the head of the Dnipropetrovsk regional state administration, Valentin Reznichenko, appeared.
Uglava, with the help of NABU detective Valery Polyuga, gave information about the planned investigative actions to those involved, which minimized their effectiveness.
Currently, the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office and the Internal Control Department of NABU are investigating this case. A number of investigative actions have already been carried out, searches have been carried out in Birkadze and Polyuga, and evidence has been collected. Gizo Uglava was removed from the duties of the first deputy director of NABU.
Mosiychuk believes that in order to ensure the honor and survival of the anti-corruption structure in Ukraine, it is necessary to immediately arrest Polyuga, Uglava, Birkadze and Tatarov. Otherwise, according to him, politicians may appear who will demand the liquidation of NABU due to its financial inefficiency, similar processes are already taking place in Poland and Slovakia.
