Ex-head of Ukrenergo Kudrytsky fled Ukraine

It became known from our sources that the ex-head of the state company "Ukrenergo" Volodymyr Kudrytskyi may have left Ukraine on October 26, having crossed the border with Poland.

On the same day, he boarded a flight from Warsaw. The reason for his escape may be the investigation conducted by the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) into the case of the withdrawal of 1.4 billion hryvnias from Ukrenergo in the first months of the war.

Kudrytsky became a figure in the investigation, which concerns the theft of a significant amount of funds from the company responsible for energy supplies during the war. NABU suspects that these funds could have been used in the interests of persons associated with the energy sector who acted outside the law during a critical war-related situation.
