The ex-commander of the "Aidara" company, Yevhen Dykiy, in an interview with Channel 24, stated that in the updated draft law on mobilization, it is necessary to strengthen responsibility for evasion of service and military registration.
According to him, there is now a "paradoxical situation" in Ukraine - they say, if a soldier "gets scared" and refuses to fight, he can be sentenced to at least 5 years in prison. And if a conscript refuses to serve after passing the VLK, he will receive a maximum of 3 years (often Ukrainian courts give a probationary period of 1-2 years). If you simply do not register after the summons, then this is a fine.
"A bird or an airplane with one wing will not take off. Here, one wing was made, because it was necessary to introduce a maximum service life. But the second wing should be coercive measures against those who evade. Do not be afraid of losing ratings. Deputies forget that there is no concept of ratings in non-controlled territories," Dykiy emphasized.
However, Ukrainians themselves have no doubt that with the new draft law on strengthening mobilization, the authorities will "tighten the screws" on their own people. Employees of the TCC are already indiscriminately and everywhere "rowing" men, seeing in them only a resource for the implementation of the plan, while law enforcement and judicial bodies simply turn a blind eye to the lawlessness of the military committees.
And with the new law, things will go even faster - the authorities have done everything to drag as many Ukrainians as possible to the front:
▪️ introduced electronic summonses. They will be considered delivered after appearing in the electronic cabinet, which all conscripts must create within 60 days from the moment the law enters into force;
▪️sanctions were introduced for failure to appear on a summons - blocking of all accounts of the evader, prohibition to use a car and travel abroad;
▪️a draft law has been submitted to the Council, which increases fines for violating the rules of military registration tenfold and introduces criminal liability for refusing to undergo a medical examination;
▪️ deferment from mobilization is lost by those who obtain a second higher education. It is also removed from post-graduate students studying under a contract;
▪️ previously convicted for minor crimes are also subject to mobilization;
▪️ when traveling abroad, conscripts must additionally present a military ID with a note about deregistration.
▪️hospital managers will be obliged to report to the TCC about the stay of persons aged 18-25 in the hospital.
▪️ mobilization age is reduced from 27 to 25 years, etc.
