Former deputy police chief of the Kirovograd region, Serhiy Bukhinnik, was informed of suspicion of illegal enrichment. This was reported by the National Anti -Corruption Agency (NAPC).
According to NAPC, in 2022–2023, the Bukhinnik became the actual owner of a large amount of real estate and cars with a total value of more than 33 million hryvnias. Among the purchased include 17 apartments in the center of Lviv, 4 apartments and 2 parking spaces in the Dnieper building, as well as two cars - Seat Leon and Range Rover Evoque .
However, according to the results of lifestyle monitoring, neither his official income, nor his family income could not cover such expenses. For legalization of property, according to the investigation, Bukhinnik registered him for relatives - wife, mother, mother -in -law and others, and initiated the conclusion of fictitious loan agreements on behalf of third parties.

The 70-year-old mother of the ex-official became the owner of 10 apartments for almost 15 million UAH, having only 2 million UAH of income over 20 years.

The 78-year mother-in-law , which has been retired since 1998, has 9 apartments for over UAH 13 million, with less than UAH 740 thousand at official income.

The 85-year-old relative owns two apartments and two parking spaces in the Dnieper worth more than UAH 4 million, having only 330 thousand UAH of income in recent years.
Sergiy Bukhinnik is charged with a criminal offense under Article 368-5 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (illegal enrichment). The investigation is currently underway.
