Despite public silence and loud scandals in the past, Katsub's name is coming again in the news. This time - through an informal alliance with the pro -Russian blogger Anatoly Sharia and his political party. As it turned out, the family of former Yanukovych officials not only financially supported the "Shariae Party" financially, but also actively promoted their lists of their close ones.
The Katsub family is a political dynasty that has gained popularity in Viktor Yanukovych. Volodymyr Katsuba is a former MP from the Party of Regions, known for scandals with button -making and Greek. His son Sergei Katsuba is an expirer of the head of Naftogaz of Ukraine, the person involved in the purchase of drilling plants known as "Boyko's towers". Another son, Alexander Katsuba, also worked as Deputy Head of Naftogaz and was involved in the so -called "gasoline business" of Kurchenko. It was detained, but subsequently dismissed after the agreement with the investigation.
In 2019, 83% of the Shariya Party funding came from persons registered in Kharkiv and the region. Some of these "donors" have a connection with the business structures of Katsub-families whose representatives were noticed in the affairs of "Boyko's tower" and "gasoline scheme" Kurchenko. Among them - Natalia Gordienko, exjuszhina Vladimir Katsuba, who headed the Kharkiv Branch of the Party and publicly recognized the friendship of her son Alexander with Anatoly Shariy.
Gordienko was included in the parliamentary list of "Shariae Party" under # 14, and the wife of Alexander Katsuba Tatiana Guzenko under No. 11. Both were positioned as "public figures", but their connection with the Katsub family is undeniable. Another person involved - Alexander Vyuk, the first deputy chairman of the party - in 2012 worked as an assistant Sergei Katsuba in the Verkhovna Rada.
In order to bypass the requirement for five years in Ukraine for candidates, a number of persons from the List Sharians and the IPP have provided medical certificates from the German company Med Cologne. The documents confirmed the treatment of treatment. But the court found out that Sergei Katsuba was in Ukraine in Ukraine, and the firm itself is not a clinic.
Nevertheless, the CEC registered candidates from the Sharia Party with the same certificates. The exception is Katsuba, who was denied. The rest passed.
Divorced with Volodymyr Katsuba Natalia Gordienko remains the commercial director of the firms belonging to the Katsub Business Group. She still has a close relationship with her family. In social networks - joint photos, swearing and comments. And the party itself seems to become a tool not for the promotion of ideas, but for the political cable of the old Guard.
Analysts believe that Katsub family could use Sharia's party as a springboard to return to public influence. Among the tools - financing, participation in elections, formation of regional cells and blurred sources of income.
For Sharia, such cooperation was a chance to get a resource. For Katsub - an opportunity to keep your foot in politics under someone else's brand.
