Former Kyiv City Council deputy Denis Komarnitsky was wanted on suspicion of organizing a criminal group that took possession of the capital's land. This was reported at the National Anti -Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU).
According to the investigation, Komarnytsky, together with 9 accomplices, was exposed on February 6, 2025 within the framework of the special operation of NABU and the Specialized Anti -Corruption Prosecutor's Office (SAP) under the name "Clean City" . His active search is currently underway because there is reason to believe that he is trying to escape abroad.
According to NABU investigation, the group was engaged in the illegal appropriation of Kiev land by registration of fictitious property rights. After that, due to the controlled deputies of the Kyiv City Council and officials of the KSCA, decisions were made to transfer land to use without bidding.
Among the suspects in this case:
- Denis Komarnytsky - expart the Kyiv City Council, organizer of the group.
- Petro Olenich - Deputy Chairman of the KSCA.
- Mikhail Terentyev - Chairman of the Land Commission of the Kyiv City Council.
- Olena Marchenko - deputy of the Kyiv City Council, member of the Land Relations Commission.
- Deputy heads of utility companies and four other people.
On February 8, the Supreme Anti -Corruption Court (WAKS) chose precautions for 7 suspects:
- Elena Marchenko - detention with the possibility of making a bail of UAH 50 million .
- Mikhail Terentyev - arrest with a pledge of UAH 19.98 million .
- Petro Olenich - detention with a pledge of 15 million UAH .
- Other persons involved - collateral from 4.5 million to 8 million UAH .
Another suspect has received a personal obligation.
According to NABU Director Semen Krivonos , law enforcement officers attracted all the forces to search the organizer of the scheme. The staff of the Security Service of Ukraine, the National Police and the State Border Service is oriented to prevent Komarnitsky from Ukraine.
“We make every effort to make this person before court and respond to their actions. The entire law enforcement system must work together in order to avoid avoiding responsibility, ” Krivonos stressed.
If Komarnytsky is not detained in the near future, it may be made on the international wanted list through Interpol .
