In the declaration of the former head of the department of protection of objects of courts in the Nikolaev area Vadim Garaguli found false information in the amount of more than UAH 3.3 million. This is evidenced by the results of the NAPC audit, which became known editions 368.Media.
Garagulus filed a declaration for 2021 with a significant delay-only in 2023. But, as it turned out, he was not just late, but also depicted data.
What exactly did you find?
-
He did not declare her daughter, although her data is in official registers. This "memory loss" significantly affects the completeness of the information.
-
He disappeared the cost of the apartment: instead of UAH 230 thousand declared 64 thousand UAH.
-
He reduced the income: instead of the actual 358 682 UAH, declared only 350 008 UAH. Despite the fact that the difference is almost UAH 8.7 thousand, the NACC report indicated for some reason only 3.1 UAH. Perhaps because of a technical error in the document.
-
He did not specify the income of 4 thousand UAH from the lease of the land share (share) of LLC "Elta-B".
Together, this gave the amount of more than UAH 3,31 million of inconsistencies.
The NAPC indicates that these violations can be the basis for criminal prosecution under Part 1 of Art. 366-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine-submission of deliberately false information. The law provides for a fine, community service or restraint of liberty.
The Garagulla himself did not give explanation, which complicated the definition whether the actions were intentional. At the same time, no signs of illegal enrichment or conflict of interest in verification have been identified.
The NACC emphasizes that the declaration must be complete and accurate, and the untimely submission and attempts to reduce the value of assets is not just a "human mistake", but a real crime against the integrity system in the state.
