The expert warned that the Russian Federation is preparing for a new large-scale missile attack on Ukraine

The Russian occupation forces are planning another massive missile attack on Ukraine, which may turn out to be no less large-scale than the strikes on August 26-27. This was stated by military expert Oleksiy Hetman on the air of "Public Radio".

Hetman emphasized that recent attacks using Iranian Shahed kamikaze drones and smaller batches of missiles are part of preparations for a massive strike. This is Russia's attempt to test the effectiveness of Ukrainian air defense and exhaust its resources.

"They are preparing a new massive missile attack, which may happen soon. Therefore, citizens should not ignore air alarms, as the threat is real," the expert warned.

According to Ukrainian intelligence (GUR MO), Russia has accumulated up to one and a half hundred missiles of various types, and this may mean that the attack will be similar to the August raids. Hetman emphasized:

"We will see hundreds of Russian missiles in the sky."

Despite the threat, he urged not to panic and to trust the Ukrainian air defense forces, in particular the F-16 systems and other means of defense, which are preparing to repel this attack.

The date of the possible attack is still unknown, but Hetman suggests that it could happen before October 12, since that is when the next meeting will be held in the Ramstein format, where military support for Ukraine will be discussed.

Be vigilant, but do not panic , advises the expert, adding that the success of the attack will depend not only on the number of missiles fired, but also on the readiness of the Ukrainian defense forces.
