The expert told how the exchange rate will change by the end of the week

Forex market expert Oleksiy Kozyrev predicts that by the end of the current week, the dollar exchange rate in Ukraine will remain within the corridor from 41.20 to 42 hryvnias/dollar. in banks, and in exchange offices of financial companies — from 41.20 to 41.95 UAH/dollar.

According to the analyst, the euro exchange rate in banks will vary between UAH 43.20 and 44.80/euro, while in exchange offices of financial companies it will range from UAH 43.30 to 44.70/euro.

On the interbank market, Kozyrev predicts that dollar quotes will be in the range from 41.25 to 41.75 UAH/dollar. At the same time, due to the dependence of the euro exchange rate on the euro/dollar and dollar/hryvnia ratios, it is expected that the interbank euro exchange rate will fluctuate from 43.23 to 44.55 hryvnias/euro.

Wholesale exchangers working with large volumes (from 1000 dollars or euros) will offer more favorable rates. According to the expert, such points are ready to increase the purchase rate by 3-5 kopecks and sell currency cheaper by 2-7 kopecks compared to retail points.

According to Kozyrev, the National Bank of Ukraine will remain the main seller of the dollar on the interbank market. With its currency interventions, the NBU will shape the exchange rate trend and influence the official exchange rate.

In general, experts expect that this week the currency market will remain within the expected corridors, without sharp jumps.
