Two-time Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, Oleksandr Moroz, shared his financial difficulties in a recent interview with Natalia Moseichuk. Moroz, who receives a pension of 21,000 hryvnias every month, expressed concern that this amount is insufficient to meet his needs.
"I live in retirement today. If my children didn't help me, I wouldn't be able to make ends meet. My pension is now 21 thousand. This is a lot of money..." he said.
He agreed with Moseychuk's remark that this is a lot of money "for those who receive 5 thousand."
"This is terribly big money. But you won't tell me when to spend on gasoline, when I had to spend about 8 thousand a month for years only on medicine and the like. And now it's not easy," he explained.
