Former Deputy Chairman of the State Bureau of Investigation, Exproutine and now lawyer Alexander Babikov has been evading the payment of alimony for the maintenance of three common children who remained with his former wife, Elena Babikova, for three years.

Olena Babikov filed a claim for alimony in 2020 to the Kirov District Court of Kropyvnytsky. The woman demanded at least 50% of the subsistence minimum for each child. However, the location of the extent could not be installed. The court issued an order for his search.
As detectives found out, Babikov rented housing near Kiev, but was not officially registered there. In 2021, the ex -grievance filed a claim for divorce. The materials stated that the marriage actually broke up in 2011, when Babikov moved to another city. They tried to reconcile, but to no avail.
Despite the court's decision, the former Deputy Chairman of the DBR continued to pay alimony. In June 2023 alone, he paid a debt - UAH 2.1 million - through a notarial agreement, estimating the costs of each child at 5 thousand hryvnias a month before their majority.
The court closed the enforcement proceedings after payment. At the same time, the attempt to recover another 3 million hryvnias and the share of the Peugeot 207 car through the court ended to no avail - the complaint was not accepted.

Interestingly, it is the same Babikov that is currently a defender of the representative of the sect, which is accused of trying to organize a coup in Odessa.
