Former Deputy Minister of Agrarian Policy Volodymyr Topchi is suspected of illegal assistance to pay state aid to the plant in the field of crop production. According to the investigation, he, together with the deputy head of one of the district state administrations, provided an illegal receipt of UAH 27 million compensation for the purchase of planting material that was not really purchased.
This was reported by the press service of the Specialized Anti -Corruption Prosecutor's Office (SAP) and the National Anti -Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU).
According to the investigation, in 2018, Topchiy, which then headed the Department of Agriculture and Technical Policy in APC, together with the accomplice illegally ensured the allocation of budgetary funds to the agricultural enterprise. Instead, the purchased planting material was not used for its intended purpose, but was included in the authorized capital of the enterprise by the founder.
The actions of the suspects are qualified under Part 2 of Art. 364 (abuse of power or office) and Part 1 of Art. 366 (official forgery) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The pre -trial investigation is ongoing.
We will remind that earlier under suspicion of large -scale land frauds, former Minister of Agrarian Policy Mykola Solsky also got. He is accused of illegally seizing state land for UAH 291 million and attempting to capture another UAH 190 million. According to the investigation, the criminal group, which included officials of the State Geocadastre, destroyed documents and transferred the land to controlled persons.
