Demand for electric vehicles in Ukraine in November 2024 decreased by 13% compared to the same period last year. According to Ukravtoprom, 3,742 electric vehicles were registered during the month, of which only 18% were new.
In November, the Ukrainian car fleet was replenished with 3,742 battery-powered electric vehicles (BEV), Ukravtoprom reports. Compared to November last year, demand for electric vehicles decreased by 13%.
The share of new cars among registered BEVs was 18%, slightly less than 19% in the same period last year. The bulk of registered electric vehicles were passenger cars - 3,597 units, of which 669 were new and 2,928 were used.
Among the 145 registered commercial electric vehicles, only 18 were new.
The top five most popular new electric cars in November included:
- HONDA M-NV – 99 units;
- BYD Song Plus – 86 units;
- ZEEKR 001 – 73 units;
- VOLKSWAGEN iD.4 – 71 units;
- AUDI Q4 e-tron – 35 units.
Among the first-time registered used electric vehicles in Ukraine, the leaders are:
1. NISSAN Leaf – 384 units;
2. TESLA Model 3 – 301 units;
3. TESLA Model Y - 298 units;
4. HYUNDAI Kona Electric – 194 units;
5. KIA Niro EV – 156 units.
Since the beginning of the year, almost 48 thousand vehicles powered by battery power sources have been registered in Ukraine for the first time, among which 20% are new and 80% are used.
