The demand for electric cars in Ukraine in November 2024 decreased by 13% compared to the same period last year. According to Ukravtoprom, 3,742 electric cars were registered in a month, of which only 18% were new.
In November, the Ukrainian fleet was replenished with 3,742 battery-powered electric vehicles (BEVs), reports Ukravtoprom. Compared to November last year, the demand for electric vehicles decreased by 13%.
The share of new cars among registered BEVs was 18%, which is slightly less than 19% for the same period last year. The main part of registered electric cars was passenger cars - 3,597 units, of which 669 were new and 2,928 were used.
Among the 145 registered commercial electric vehicles, only 18 were new.
The five most popular new electric cars in November included:
- HONDA M-NV – 99 units;
- BYD Song Plus – 86 units;
- ZEEKR 001 – 73 units;
- VOLKSWAGEN iD.4 – 71 units;
- AUDI Q4 e-tron – 35 units.
Among the used electric cars registered for the first time in Ukraine, the following are in the lead:
1. NISSAN Leaf – 384 units;
2. TESLA Model 3 – 301 units;
3. TESLA Model Y – 298 units;
4. HYUNDAI Kona Electric – 194 units;
5. KIA Niro EV – 156 units.
Since the beginning of the year, almost 48,000 battery-powered vehicles have been registered in Ukraine for the first time, including 20% new and 80% used.
