The Economic Court of Odessa region is considering the case of illegal construction of residential facilities in the territory of the Lower Dniester National Nature Park. The Prosecutor's Office of Odesa region demands to demolish two dwellings and garages belonging to the company of the wife of the former head of the Belgorod-Dnestrovsk district council.
The claim of the deputy head of the Odessa Regional Prosecutor's Office refers to invalidation of the act of acceptance and transfer of property between the public organization "Society of Hunters and Fishermen of the XXI Century" and LLC "Melnichenko". The dispute concerns structures in the Belgorod-Dnestrovsky district, in the territory of the hydraulic construction of Vasylkka, which is subordinate to the Udobnensky village council.
The prosecutor's office acts in the interests of the state, the third party in the case is the Lower Dniester National Nature Park. It is known that the defendant - NGO "Society of Hunters and Fishermen of the XXI Century" - ignored the last court hearing. The court hearing was postponed until February 12.
Melnichenko LLC, according to the Declaration for 2022, belongs to the wife of former head of the district council Olena Melnichenko.
However, this is not the only scandal related to the former official. Earlier, he was under investigation due to the appropriation of state property of the State Ecological Inspectorate of the Southwestern District. In particular, we are talking about the Tuna 865 Cabin high-speed boat and the trailer that disappeared from the Sovignon yacht club after the official convinced the guards exporting the property for its safety.
Subsequently, the boat was discovered at one of the factories in Bilyaivka, where it was used on personal needs. Due to the lack of accounting of the boat, the losses of the state reached more than 600 thousand UAH. Currently, the expert of the district council and the former head of the State Inspectorate are the persons involved in criminal proceedings.
