Energy Minister Herman Galushchenko, according to People's Deputy Yaroslav Zheleznyak, spent the night in the arrested estate of former Interior Minister Vitaliy Zakharchenko on the eve of the NABU search. The house is under the management of ARMA, and its use is officially prohibited.
This was stated by People's Deputy Yaroslav Zheleznyak, referring to information from his own sources.
According to the MP, in October, Galushchenko urgently left his house in Tsarskoye Selo, but immediately before the search, he returned there and spent the night. It was this object that became one of the addresses to which NABU detectives came.
This is the property of former Yanukovych-era Interior Minister Vitaliy Zakharchenko. He has been arrested since 2021 and transferred to the management of the National Agency for Tracing and Asset Management (ARMA). The use of this property is prohibited, and any access to it must be carried out exclusively under the control of law enforcement officers.
According to Zheleznyak's sources, the keys to the house were with the security forces, and the request for arrest was filed by the State Bureau of Investigation at the time.
The first ARMA competition for the transfer of the estate to management took place only in September-October 2025, but no applicants were found. Formally, the object was to remain uninhabited.
How Energy Minister Herman Galushchenko and his deputy Yaroslav Hrynchuk ended up in the house under arrest is currently unknown. Several possible versions are being considered: access through law enforcement agencies, use of the status of officials, or interference from the so-called "back office."
Zheleznyak adds that this story has an additional context: for a long time, ARMA's activities, according to a number of journalistic investigations, were under the influence of businessman and media manager Timur Mindich, one of the co-owners of "Kvartal 95" and a figure in high-profile corruption tapes.
There are currently no official comments from the Minister of Energy, his deputy, ARMA, or law enforcement.
