A video is circulating on social media showing a man resembling Serhiy Borzov striking an opponent during a conflict. The former head of the Vinnytsia OVA, who now heads the local branch of the National Olympic Committee, has once again found himself at the epicenter of a public scandal.
The video shows a man in dark clothing taking a sharp step forward and hitting another man in the head. The victim loses his balance and falls. The face of the other participant in the conflict is not visible, and the reasons for the fight remain unknown.
Borzov's scandals
This is not the first such case involving a former official. Previously, a video from a gas station was actively discussed, where Borzov, allegedly in a state of alcohol intoxication, behaved aggressively in the company of a person with a criminal past. The conflict then ended with the transfer of opponents to representatives of the CCC, which caused a wave of public indignation.
Shortly after the story became public, Borzov resigned, and the President signed a decree dismissing him “for health reasons” in June 2024. However, he retained the influential position of head of the Vinnytsia branch of the NOC.
People's Deputy from the Servant of the People party Iryna Borzova came to the man's defense, stating that the high-profile video from the gas station was "created by artificial intelligence" and is a provocation.

The National Police has already registered the incident. As reported by Zarina Mayevska, spokeswoman for the Vinnytsia Oblast Police Department, all circumstances of the conflict are currently being established.
