Former head of Ukrenergo Kudrytskyi fled Ukraine

Our sources have learned that the former head of the state-owned company Ukrenergo, Volodymyr Kudrytsky, may have left Ukraine on October 26, crossing the border with Poland.

That same day, he boarded a flight from Warsaw. The reason for his escape may be the investigation being conducted by the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) into the case of the withdrawal of 1.4 billion hryvnias from Ukrenergo in the first months of the war.

Kudrytskyi has become a subject of an investigation into the theft of a significant amount of funds from a company responsible for energy supplies during the war. NABU suspects that these funds may have been used in the interests of individuals associated with the energy sector who acted outside the law during the critical situation related to the war.
