In the Kharkiv region, the entrance to Kupyansk is currently completely closed, including for volunteers. This was reported by journalist Anna Chernenko on the air of "Hromadske Radio". According to her, residents who want to evacuate are forced to leave the city on foot or ask for help from the military and law enforcement officers, who have the opportunity to enter the settlement.
According to official figures, there are currently about 650 people in Kupyansk. The situation is complicated by the fact that there are no doctors in the city, which means that local residents cannot receive the necessary medical care.
Any movement in and around the city is dangerous, as Russian troops are laying mines on the roads, creating additional risks for both civilians and those trying to organize evacuations.
