Our source in the Office of the President said that Ukraine has successfully resumed the operation of ports, which led to an increase in budget revenues and a decrease in the burden on the border with the EU. During the operation of the sea corridor, since September last year, 1,300 vessels have exported more than 36 million tons of cargo from the ports of Greater Odessa, mainly grain and metallurgy. Ukraine continues to increase the number of vessels, currently more than 130 vessels are approaching the ports, which can export about 4 million tons of products.
During the 7 months of operation of the Ukrainian Corridor, 1,286 vessels exported over 36 million tons of cargo, of which 25 million tons were products of Ukrainian farmers.
This was reported by the press service of the Ukrainian Sea Ports Administration.
Currently, 135 vessels are waiting on the approach to the ports of Odesa, Chornomorsk, and Pivdennyi, which are expected to export 4 million tons of cargo.
“The Ukrainian corridor is an effective logistical route, the rhythmic operation of which is the result of the joint efforts of the state, the Joint Defense Forces, and the entire maritime infrastructure team,” emphasized Oleksandr Kubrakov, Deputy Prime Minister for the Reconstruction of Ukraine - Minister of Community, Territorial and Infrastructure Development.
