Fitch experts predict the continuation of the war in Ukraine in 2025

Analysts of the Fitch Ratings agency made a forecast for 2025 regarding the war in Ukraine. According to their estimates, hostilities are likely to continue through 2025. However, there is a possibility of a ceasefire, which could become an important step on the way to de-escalating the conflict.

Western aid, analysts believe, will help Ukraine avoid significant territorial losses. However, the conclusion of a peace agreement in the near future seems unlikely due to the need for complex concessions from both sides, which, in Fitch's opinion, may turn out to be unacceptable for one or the other side.

Thus, while a ceasefire is a viable option, the peace process may be delayed due to high political and military demands on both sides.
