SES specialist "forgot" about property, family and 3 million hryvnias

The chief specialist of the department of corruption of the SES of Ukraine Taras Fesenko was in the center of the scandal after checking his declaration for 2022. The National Anti -Corruption Agency (NAPC) has found numerous violations and false data totaling more than UAH 3 million in its report.

At once, several points of the Declaration raised doubts. In particular, Fesenko indicated that he does not have a unique record number in the demographic registry, although he is. The same applies to the passport for traveling abroad - the declaration indicates "Data missing", although in fact the document is issued in the name Fesenko Taras.

False information is also traced to family members. The wife of the official appears as Protsenko, although after the marriage she changed her name to Fesenko. Her universities and passport for traveling abroad were also not listed, as did similar data on the daughter. NAPC emphasizes that without this data, family identification abroad is complicated, which is a serious violation.

Particular attention is paid to real estate. Fesenko "forgot" to declare an apartment in Kiev, which his wife owns in equal parts with relatives. At the same time, the wife herself stated this apartment in her declaration. The market cost of housing at the end of 2022 - UAH 2.27 million.

In addition, another apartment owned by Fesenko is not specified as the place of residence of his family. All these "errors" of the NACC evaluated as presenting false information.

In the financial section, Fesenko did not declare 786 thousand hryvnias of his wife's income, which she received from the National Police in 2022. These data are in the Tax Register and in its preliminary declaration. Why he ignored this information is unknown.

Another suspicious detail is the purchase of the Toyota RAV4 (2017) car in June 2022. The cost specified in the declaration does not correspond to the market. Auto.ria rated a similar model of $ 17.9 thousand, and experts - at more than UAH 660 thousand. Family income in the first half of 2022 simply did not allow such a purchase - there was much less savings.

Fesenko had the opportunity to provide explanations or supporting documents, but did not exercise this right, despite the request from the NAPC in April 2024.

The total amount of false data is over UAH 3 million. This is enough to incriminate criminal offenses under Part 1 of Art. 366-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine-submission of deliberately false information in the declaration.

Law enforcement response is currently expected.
