In Vinnytsia region, law enforcement officers have uncovered a possible scheme to falsify data on future drivers' training. Ruslan Semenyuk, the director of the Avtoplyus-K LLC driving school in Kalynivka, is suspected of falsifying information in the electronic accounting system.
According to the materials of the pre-trial investigation, in the period from April 2023 to 2024, the official allegedly entered knowingly false information into the information system of the "ARM "Driving School". This concerns fictitious registration of practical driving lessons for groups of students, which in fact did not take place.
The investigation found that one of the instructors has been working as an administrator at the Kalynivka City Council since 2021 and was physically unable to conduct classes. Despite this, the system showed that he was teaching cadets. According to law enforcement, similar records were made for four other instructors.
All inaccurate information was confirmed by the school principal's electronic digital signature. This allowed students to formally fulfill the requirements of the training program, pass exams at the Ministry of Internal Affairs service center, and obtain a driver's license without completing the required number of practical classes.
Law enforcement officers believe that such actions could have created risks to road safety, as drivers could have taken to the roads without proper training.
Ruslan Semenyuk was informed of suspicion under Part 1 and Part 3 of Article 362 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (unauthorized actions with information processed in electronic systems). The court chose for him a preventive measure in the form of a personal bond. The investigation is ongoing.
