In the Transcarpathian region, a case was transferred to the court on a large -scale scheme of illegal registration of documents on unfitness for military service. Among the persons involved is the staffer of the staffing Oksana Libyk, whom the investigation considers one of the organizers of the criminal group.
This was reported by journalist Vitaliy Glagola with reference to the Specialized Prosecutor's Office in the field of defense of the Western Region.
According to law enforcement officers, the group acted systematically: participants falsified the conclusions of the Military Medical Commission (VLK), recognizing the men that are not suitable for the service.
The criminal scheme included:
-
Head of Psychonarcological Department,
-
psychiatrist,
-
a member of the VLK,
-
the head of one of the departments of the RTC,
-
Residents of Khust and Berehiv districts who have been searching for clients.
The cost of "Bilet" for exemption from service ranged from $ 9 to $ 14,000.
The investigation found that fictitious certificates of mental illness and other diagnoses that made it impossible to service in the army were issued for money. Such "conclusions" were issued on the basis of fabricated medical documents without actual examination.
The indictment has already been sent to court. If the defendants are proven, they are threatened with up to 10 years in prison.
Against the background of a continuous war, this case causes special indignation - not only because of the scale, but also because of the moral aspect: falsifications were carried out at a time when others died on the front.
