The leadership and coaching staff of "Vorskla" headed by Yuriy Maksimov made an unexpected decision regarding seven football players of the team, parting with them due to unsatisfactory results of the first part of the season. Demir Shkriel, Mykola Kovtalyuk, Artem Kulakovsky, Oleksandr Chornomorets, Viktor Kornienko, Stanislav Prus and Dmytro Chernysh were included in the list.
This decision has become a topic of discussion among fans who cannot understand why such changes are happening. It is noted that the list included even young players with great potential, such as Skriel, who only appeared on the field a few times. Others are outraged by the departure of experienced football players, such as Kovtaluk and Kornienko, and do not understand why less reliable players remained in the team.
In particular, one of the biggest issues was the missing comment from head coach Yuriy Maksimov, who did not hold a press conference to explain his position and motivation for such decisions.
In fan circles, there is also an opinion that the club can start actively attracting foreign players again, and young pupils are not given the opportunity to prove themselves. Many believe that "Vorskla" invested a lot of time and resources in the development of these players, and their dismissal seems strange.
Whether this will be a new stage for the club or just a temporary step, only time will tell. At the same time, this step raises many questions that still remain without a clear answer.
