According to the investigation, in Mykolaiv, the head of the KEU was exposed, who concluded a contract with a company to purchase wood at inflated prices. He involved the head of the fuel group and an authorized person of the Mykolaiv KEU in this scheme. Such actions of the suspects caused losses to the state in the amount of almost 2.3 million UAH.
In the Odessa region, KEU officials, together with an individual entrepreneur, squandered budget funds during the purchase of wood at inflated prices, causing the state 4.1 million UAH in losses.
In Kropyvnytskyi, the head of the KEV concluded an agreement with one of the limited liability companies to purchase beds at an inflated price, which caused losses to the state in the amount of UAH 352,000.
In Vinnytsia, officials of the City Health Department overspent UAH 508,000 of budget funds during the overhaul of the hospital canteen during 2020-2022.
A criminal scheme involving officials of the State Environmental Protection Agency (KEV) who concluded contracts with contractors to purchase wood at inflated prices was exposed in Zaporizhia. The state suffered almost UAH 15.5 million in losses.
In Luhansk Oblast, the KEV management, through controlled enterprises, purchased firewood at an inflated price without an open bidding procedure, appropriating over UAH 101 million.
The total amount of damage caused to the state is UAH 123.8 million.
All participants in the schemes are charged with embezzlement, embezzlement of other people's property in particularly large amounts, official negligence, legalization of property obtained by criminal means (parts 3, 5 of article 27, parts 4, 5 of article 191, part 2 of article 367, part 2 of article 209 of the Criminal Code)
