In Poltava, law enforcement officers detained a 32-year-old man who was setting off fireworks at night, violating the silence regime. The incident occurred at 2:30 a.m., when the Poltava resident decided to celebrate his birthday in this way.
According to the Poltava Oblast Police Department, an administrative report was drawn up against the violator, and criminal proceedings were opened under the article “Hooliganism.”.
The incident occurred on February 8 at around 2:30 a.m. in Nestor Horodovenka Lane in Poltava. Law enforcement officers quickly identified the person involved in the incident.
The perpetrator was a 32-year-old local resident. According to him, he decided to celebrate his birthday in this way.
Information about the incident was entered into the Unified Register of Pre-Trial Investigations under Part 1 of Article 296 (Hooliganism) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The issue of notifying the man of suspicion is currently being resolved.
In addition, the police drew up an administrative report against the violator for violating the procedure for using pyrotechnic devices (Part 1, Article 195-6 of the Code of Administrative Offenses).
