The company of the nephew of deputy Kasaaya sold the Armed Forces of Landy Jackets of the Triple and disappeared with money in Turkey

In June 2021, VECTOR AVIA was registered in Turkey, with the co-founders of which is the nephew of People's Deputy Gennady Kasayai, Alexander Kasai, as well as Roman Pletnav, an employee of the Ukrainian company "MS Aviation Grade". Initially, the firm was engaged in trading in aviation engines and details, but a few months later changed the profile and entered the market for the supply of military clothing.

In 2022, the company received a profitable order from the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine - for the supply of jackets worth $ 27 million. Subsequently, it turned out that things were poor quality and the cost was significantly inflated. Turkish customs documents showed that the purchase price was almost three times lower than the one for which the Ministry of Defense was calculated.

The investigation began in December 2022. The investigation found that between the officials of the Defense Ministry and Vector Avia, there was a conspiracy, which resulted in $ 27 million in public funds to the company's accounts in Turkey. In March 2023, two officials and a businessman Roman Pletnyov were suspected. He was wanted because he left for Turkey earlier. In May of that year, Alexander Kasai left the country, but he was not presented with suspicion.

In August 2024, the SBU officially suspended the investigation, referring to the absence of the persons involved in Ukraine. This procedure allows you to maintain the pre -trial investigation and not to close the case on the limitation period.

This story has become the subject of consideration at the level of parliamentary structures. In particular, the Verkhovna Rada Anti -Corruption Committee and the Provisional Investigation Commission confirmed that the purchase was carried out without a tender, the company with a dubious reputation has received a subscription of more than $ 30 million.

The Chairman of the Committee on Anti -Corruption Policy Anastasia Radina reported that the Ministry of Defense itself has selected the company for purchasing, making a request for a commercial proposal without holding the competition. At the same time, she noted that the committee had no authority to investigate the probable participation in the case of MP Gennady Kasai. The National Security Committee, which it is included, was also not involved in this purchase.

The case, which includes more than $ 27 million, remains inhibited due to the lack of suspects in Ukraine. Kasaaya and Pletnyov's return to the country is a key factor on which the further movement of the investigation depends.
