Oleh Avdysh, Deputy General Director for External Communications of Lviv's Karpaty, did not return to Ukraine after the team's training camp in Turkey.
As reported by Tribuna.com , the football club confirmed this information in response to a request from journalists.
“We would like to inform you that the delegation of the Karpaty football club was at a training camp in Turkey from January 18 to February 14, 2025. All employees of the Karpaty football club (coaches, players and staff) have returned to the territory of Ukraine, with the exception of Deputy General Director for External Communications Oleh Avdysh,” the club replied in a letter signed by Karpaty General Director Andriy Rusol.
25-year-old Avdysh took up the position of Deputy General Director of the Lviv club in October 2024. Before working at Karpaty, he was engaged in sports consulting.
We will remind you that two hockey players of Kyiv's Sokol, forward Roman Blahy and defenseman Volodymyr Aleksyuk, did not return to Ukraine after the team's performances at the Continental Cup.
