A 20-year-old blogger was brought to administrative responsibility in Kyiv for performing songs by Russian artists with obscene language in a video in a police uniform, the press service of the National Police reported.
While monitoring social media, National Police analysts discovered a video in which a young man in a police uniform performs songs by Russian artists, containing obscene language. According to his own words, the young man published the video for the purpose of "hype" and increasing the number of followers on the network.
Law enforcement officers have established that the violator is a 20-year-old resident of the capital. An administrative report has been drawn up against him for illegal use of the insignia of belonging to the National Police of Ukraine - part of Article 184-3 of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses. The violator faces a fine of up to 34,000 hryvnias.
The press service reminded that the use of the uniform, attributes, or official insignia of law enforcement officers without legal grounds entails administrative liability and may mislead citizens regarding a person's affiliation with law enforcement agencies.
The police also appealed to citizens not to distribute such materials and to report cases of improper use of law enforcement insignia through the department's official channels.
