Ukraine is launching a large-scale state program "Testing in Ukraine", which will allow foreign manufacturers of weapons and defense technologies to test the effectiveness of their developments directly in combat conditions. This was reported by the Ukrainian platform Brave1, Reuters .
The program is open to companies specializing in unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), unguided rocket systems (UGS), maritime drones, electronic warfare (EW) systems, and artificial intelligence-based solutions. The technologies can be tested either directly in the combat zone in cooperation with the military, or transferred to Brave1 for autonomous testing. Upon completion of the tests, the companies will receive a full technical report with the results.
“This gives us an understanding of what technologies are actually working on the front lines, and manufacturers a unique experience that cannot be simulated in laboratories,” explained Brave1 Head of Investor Relations Artem Moroz.
The program is supported by the Ministry of Digital Transformation. As Minister Mykhailo Fedorov noted, Ukraine has already created the necessary infrastructure for the rapid development of defense technologies and cooperation with international partners.
“Brave1 is your entry point for testing, co-developing, and scaling solutions that will bring victory to Ukraine,” said Fedorov.
Thus, Ukraine is not only strengthening its own defense capabilities, but also turning into a global hub of military innovations, which allows creating and improving technologies in the most realistic conditions.
