The NACP has completed a full audit of the annual declaration for 2023 submitted by the former head of the regional service center of the Main Service Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the Rivne region.
According to the agency, the former employee did not declare property and income worth more than UAH 3.1 million.
The NACP's conclusion states that the official did not include in the declaration:
-
two land plots in Rivne with an area of 930 and 915 sq m with a market value of over 3.17 million UAH, received as a gift from his wife;
-
own income in the form of the same gift;
-
the wife's income from the payment of a share in the authorized capital of "VILAR-TRADE" LLC after leaving its membership.
An interesting nuance: the ex-owner's wife was a co-founder of "VILAR-TRADE" LLC for only one day. After leaving the company, she received ownership of two land plots worth over UAH 3.17 million as compensation for a share in the authorized capital, which cost only UAH 3.8 thousand. Later, these plots were donated to her husband.
The NACP has drawn up a reasoned conclusion and forwarded the materials to the State Bureau of Investigation. They are investigating criminal proceedings under Part 1 of Article 366-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (false declaration).
