The NACP has completed a full audit of the annual declaration for 2023 submitted by the former head of the regional service center of the Main Service Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Rivne region. The audit results revealed signs of false declarations in the amount of over UAH 3.1 million.
As reported by "Law and Business" with reference to the National Property and Property Commission, the former owner did not declare two land plots in Rivne with an area of 930 and 915 sq m, which he received as a gift from his wife. The minimum market value of the plots exceeds 3.17 million UAH.
In addition, the declaration does not reflect the former owner's income in the form of a gift - the same land plots, as well as the wife's income received in the form of payment of a share in the authorized capital of "VILAR-TRADE" LLC after leaving the membership.
Interestingly, the wife of a former official owned a share in the company's authorized capital for only one day, after which she left the founders and received land plots worth over 3 million UAH as compensation. A few months later, these plots were donated to her husband. At the same time, the value of her share in the LLC was only 3.8 thousand UAH.
Based on the results of the inspection, the NACP issued a reasoned conclusion and transferred the materials to the State Bureau of Investigation. The pre-trial investigation is being conducted under Part 1 of Article 366-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (false declaration).
