The former head of the Main Department of Internal Security of the Security Service of Ukraine, Andriy Naumov, who left Ukraine a few hours before the start of Russia's full-scale invasion on February 24, 2022, became the owner of luxury real estate in Turkey.
This is what the "Schemes" investigation says.
According to information from the Turkish real estate registry, the total value of the real estate purchased by Naumov was 8.5 million Turkish liras (approximately 17.5 million hryvnias at the time).
The largest apartment, measuring 185 sq m, cost about 7 million hryvnias. The second apartment, measuring 115 sq m, cost 6.5 million hryvnias. The smallest apartment, measuring 70 sq m, was purchased for 3.7 million hryvnias.

According to journalists, Naumov's family is using the property in Turkey while he is in Serbia, where he is awaiting a court ruling in a money laundering case. If he is deported from Serbia, Naumov could be reunited with his family in Turkey.
Naumov, whom Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stripped of his rank of brigadier general in 2022 and called a traitor, appears in criminal cases of treason, fraud, embezzlement, and abuse of power.
In June 2022, he was detained in Serbia on suspicion of money laundering. Ukraine requested his extradition, but a Serbian court denied the request. In December 2023, Naumov was released from custody and remains in Serbia, awaiting a final decision.
Naumov himself denies the charges and calls the cases against him politically motivated. According to him, the campaign to discredit him was organized by former Ukrainian officials.
As a reminder, Interpol has put Andriy Naumov, the former head of the internal security department of the SBU, on the international wanted list.
