France will supply artillery to Ukraine

The Armed Forces of Ukraine will have the opportunity to receive 3,000 shells from France every month, Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine, Lieutenant General Ivan Havrylyuk, said in an interview with NV.

Regarding the 155-mm shells for French artillery systems, Havrylyuk noted that France will be able to provide the Ukrainian army with the specified number of shells every month. This is an important step for the Ukrainian military, especially in the context of the need to replenish ammunition in connection with the ongoing war in the east of the country.

In addition, France plans to manufacture 78 Caesar artillery systems for Ukraine, six of which will be delivered in the near future. This is also an important milestone in defense cooperation between the two countries.

The Deputy Minister of Defense emphasized that these supplies from France demonstrate the steadfast support of Ukraine from the Parisian government. For Ukraine, this is not only an opportunity to obtain the necessary equipment, but also a demonstration of international solidarity and support in the face of the challenges the country is facing today.
