On August 9, People's Artist of Ukraine Oleksandr Ponomarev celebrated his 52nd birthday. On this occasion, famous Ukrainian singer Maria Burmaka publicly congratulated her longtime friend and stage colleague.
In her Facebook post, Maria recalled the beginning of their friendship, which began back in 1993 at the Chervona Ruta festival in Donetsk. She shared archival photos that show how they both changed over time and developed in their creativity. Some of the photos show Alexander Ponomarev in an unexpected way, which makes them especially interesting for fans.
“Happy birthday, Alexander Ponomarev! I thought I had known you for more years than I haven’t. Since 1993, since “Chervona Ruta” in Donetsk! Sing, write, give concerts, invent songs!!! Many years, Maestro,” Maria wrote.
The birthday boy himself responded to the congratulations with a heart in the comments. Fans also joined in the congratulations, wishing the artist health, creative success, and inspiration.
