Cloudy weather with clearings is expected in Kyiv. At night, the temperature will drop to -14°, and during the day the air will warm up to -8°.
In the west of the country, the frosts will be more noticeable at night. In Lviv, Lutsk and Ivano-Frankivsk, the temperature will drop to -18° at night, and will be around -7° during the day. In Rivne, Ternopil and Khmelnytskyi, the forecast is -15° at night, and -7° during the day. In Uzhhorod, it will be milder: -11° at night, and around -1° during the day.
There will also be no significant changes in the central regions. In Vinnytsia, Zhytomyr, Kropyvnytskyi and Poltava, temperatures are expected to drop to -15° at night and -7° during the day. In Cherkasy, the temperature will range from -11° at night to -7° during the day.
In the north of the country, in Chernihiv and Sumy, night frosts will reach -15°, during the day - about -7°. Similar indicators are predicted in Kharkiv and Dnipro.
Southern regions will remain relatively warmer. In Odessa, Mykolaiv, Kherson, and Zaporizhia, the night temperature will be -9°…-11°, and during the day the temperature will rise to -1°. No precipitation is expected.
In the east, Kramatorsk and Severodonetsk are forecasting cloudy weather without precipitation, the air temperature at night will be around -12°, during the day - up to -7°. In Simferopol, it will be cloudy, at night - up to -11°, during the day - around -1°.
Overall, January 20 in Ukraine will be without snow and rain, preserving winter frosts and dry weather.
