In the middle of the week, on February 5, a gradual warming is expected in Ukraine. Severe frosts will begin to recede throughout the country, and in the western and southern regions, the air temperature will rise above zero during the day. At the same time, along with the increase in temperature, forecasters predict precipitation and increased wind, which may increase the feeling of cold. In the west of the country, the weather will be milder. In Lviv, Lutsk, Rivne, Ternopil, Khmelnytskyi, Ivano-Frankivsk and Chernivtsi, cloudy weather with light sleet and rain is expected. Nighttime temperatures will fluctuate within -3…-4 degrees, during the day the thermometer will rise to +1. In Uzhhorod, the warmest weather is predicted - about 0 degrees at night, and up to +8 during the day, with clouds and clearings.
The winter weather will remain in the central regions. In Vinnytsia, it is expected from -4 at night to +1 in the afternoon, wet snow and rain. In Zhytomyr, it will be colder - up to -6 at night and about -1 in the afternoon with light wet snow. In Cherkasy and Kropyvnytskyi, the forecast is up to -8 at night, up to -3 in the afternoon, with light snow. In Poltava, the temperature will range from -13 at night to -5 in the afternoon.
In the north of the country, frosts will still be noticeable. In Chernihiv, temperatures are expected to reach -17 at night, and around -7 during the day with light snow. In Sumy, forecasters predict the lowest temperatures - up to -20 at night and around -9 during the day.
It will gradually warm up in the south. In Odessa, the temperature at night will be about -1, during the day - up to +4, light rain and sleet are possible. In Kherson and Mykolaiv, the temperature is expected to be up to +1 during the day, with clouds and clearings. In Zaporizhia, the temperature will remain lower - up to -6 at night and -2 during the day.
Dry and cold weather will persist in eastern Ukraine. In Kharkiv, the temperature will drop to -19 at night and rise to -9 during the day. In Dnipro, it is expected to be around -10 at night and -4 during the day. In Kramatorsk and Severodonetsk, frosts will reach -13…-16 at night and -7…-8 during the day.
The weather in Crimea will be contrasting: in Simferopol, the forecast is about -3 at night, and up to +8 during the day, with clouds and clearings.
