Besedin's footballer explained why he didn't return to Ukraine

Ukrainian football player Artem Besyedin, who currently plays for the Czech Second League club Lishen, explained his decision not to return to Ukraine, despite offers from Ukrainian clubs. The player noted that an important factor for him was his reluctance to expose his family to danger in wartime conditions.

Besyedin noted that in 2022 he played for the Ordabasy team and although he had pleasant memories of that period, they did not continue their cooperation after the end of the contract. When the war began, Artem was in Ukraine and experienced part of that terrible time, which changed his attitude to return.

"Part of me was drawn home, but after the war started, I was in Ukraine and experienced part of that terrible time. I have small children and I don't want to subject my family to this test again," Besyedin shared his thoughts.

Currently, the player is continuing his career in the Czech Republic, where he is considering offers from abroad, especially since in the 2024/2025 season, he played only 5 matches for Dynamo without any productive actions. At the same time, Besyedin emphasized that the safety of his loved ones is important to him.
