Gas supply companies have published their tariffs for January 2026. For some Ukrainians, the cost of gas may be slightly lower compared to previous months.
There are currently eight gas supply companies operating in the Ukrainian market. Four of them offer residential consumers exclusively annual tariff plans, and another four offer both annual and monthly variable prices.
The annual offers for January 2026 remained unchanged. The cost of gas at such tariffs ranges from 7.96 to 9.99 hryvnias per cubic meter. These tariffs are the basic ones for most household consumers and are applied automatically if the client has not chosen a monthly plan.
Instead, monthly variable tariffs have decreased. In January, their range is from 8.46 to 25.8 hryvnias per cubic meter, depending on the supplier. The highest monthly price for gas is offered by the company Lvivenergozbut — 25.8 hryvnias per cubic meter.
At the same time, the vast majority of households in Ukraine receive gas at annual tariffs. About 98 percent of household consumers, which is more than 12 million households, are served by the gas supply company Naftogaz of Ukraine. For them, the gas price is fixed at 7.96 hryvnia per cubic meter.
Thus, in January 2026, the majority of Ukrainian consumers will continue to pay for gas at stable annual tariffs, while a decrease in monthly prices may be beneficial only for a limited part of customers who consciously choose variable tariff plans.
