In Kharkiv, an unknown man attacked the Armed Forces serviceman on the territory of the district territorial center of acquisition and social support (RTC and JV) using a gas cannon and a knife.
Today, a serviceman of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has been attacked in Kharkiv and JV. (…) During the attack, the offender used a gas can and stabbed the Armed Forces of Ukraine with a knife wound. Additional police crews and ambulances have been sent to the scene. The attacker was detained by national police officers
The institution emphasized that "this crime occurred against the background of a shameful information campaign, the purpose of which is to discredit servicemen of territorial centers of staffing and social support and forces of defense of Ukraine."
"The serviceman is provided with the necessary help, there is no threat to his life," - said at the Tax Code.
It is noted that operational actions are ongoing. The command and personnel of the regional and district shopping center and JV, as stated, provide maximum assistance to the investigation.
“The attack on a serviceman during the duty is a serious crime that must be investigated as soon as possible. They are convinced that the results of the investigation and the relevant court decision will suggest an inevitable punishment in accordance with the requirements of the current legislation, ”the Tax Code stressed.
