NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte paid an unofficial visit to Donald Trump's residence in Florida. This is reported by the Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf , citing anonymous sources.
Neither Trump nor NATO were officially informed about this visit.
Earlier, the Washington Post newspaper wrote that the NATO Secretary General intends to discuss the strategy for Ukraine with the Republican in the near future.
According to the publication, Rutte's goal is to convince Trump that the world should be "fair", that is, take into account the interests of Kyiv and the Alliance in general.
The publication also reported that the Secretary General will try to convince Trump that the "unprofitable" agreement could harm him during his second presidential term.
It should be noted that already after Rutte's visit to Trump, information appeared about the appointment of Richard Grenell, who opposes the admission of Kyiv to NATO, as a member of parliament for Ukraine.
